Oakridge

Oakridge is a reasonably large neighbourhood situated in the northwest end of London. The area spans pretty far, using the Thames River as its south/southwestern borders. The heart of the neighbourhood is at the intersection of Hyde Park Road and Oxford Street West. This area has plenty of attractive amenities for potential buyers, and the location alone is enough to entice growing families. Only fifteen minutes away from the city centre, this district is thriving with families and newly developed commercial instalments. From plenty of green space, parks and a golf course to shopping and a variety of schools, Oakridge boasts everything a potential buyer may need.

The residential part of the neighbourhood is divided into two main areas. South of Oxford are developments that began in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Here, potential buyers will see properties such as spacious ranches starting at $380k to two-storey family homes from $465k and up. The north end of Oakridge boasts relatively newer homes (development began in the 1960’s and 1970’s and is still underway in some areas) at higher price points. From dramatic riverfront estates from 1977 valued at $2.2m to apartment buildings and detached two-storey condominiums, there is something for buyers of varying lifestyles and budgets in the broad Oakridge area.
