Riverbend

Located at the far west end of the city, River Bend is nestled along a large curve in the Thames River as it meanders its way out of the city. The neighbourhood was recently developed, with homes built in the past couple of decades.  There is a mix of single detached houses, townhouses, as well as the privately-owned homes of the River Bend Golf Community.  The nearest commercial areas are located in Byron at Commissioners and Boler and Oakridge at Oxford and Hyde Park Road.

Kains Woods Environmentally Significant Area serves as a backdrop to the community. Several kilometres of winding trails can be explored from different access points in the area which is home to many different plant and animal species. Riverbend Park is at the heart of the neighbourhood and has ample green space, play structures, a basketball court, and soccer fields.

St. Nicholas Catholic School was built in the neighbourhood in 2014. Students also attend Byron Northview Public School, and St. Thomas Aquinas and Saunders secondary schools.
